Alderson Park
Alderson Park has undergone a transformation, designed to enhance its role as a gathering space for the community. The project focused on creating an inviting and engaging environment, where families and residents can come together and enjoy a range of play experiences.
Project Overview
- Budget (Equipment Only)
- $75,000 – $95,000
At the core of the revitalised park, Kaebel Leisure’s distinctive spaghetti crinkle provides a striking focal point. Complemented by talk tubes and a rotante rubber floor spinner, these play elements offer children a stimulating and interactive environment. The play equipment’s bold blue colour is beautifully complemented by the Play Matta surfacing, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional qualities of the space.
This upgrade is the result of a successful collaboration between Perfection Landscape Services and Cumberland City Council. Together, they have worked to create a space that not only meets the needs of the community but also promotes interaction, play, and wellbeing for all who visit.
The redesign of Alderson Park highlights the importance of community consultation in shaping environments that truly resonate with their users. With its thoughtful design and carefully chosen elements, the park now serves as a welcoming space for families, offering a blend of play opportunities and areas for social connection.
